   Proposal Description:
   The overall goal of this proposal is to determine the prevalence of specific medications associated with high ADS scores (defined as scores in the 75th percentile and above) in the NACC cohort. Findings from this research will have important implications for prescribing in vulnerable older adults because they will help doctors appreciate the additive risk of adverse outcomes for patients using multiple medications with anticholinergic potential, and identify the contributions of individual drugs.    Specific aims: (1) determine the anticholinergic medicine burden among a sample of community-dwelling older adults in the NACC cohort (2) identify the most prevalent individual medicines associated with high ADS scores and (3) describe patient characteristics associated with high ADS scores.
